PROFILE

Mike was admitted as a solicitor in 1999 and since then has specialised in matters affecting the construction industry both in private practice and as a consultant. Mike has worked for companies in the UK, the Republic of Ireland and overseas. Mike has considerable experience of representing clients in arbitration, litigation and adjudication proceedings and advises regularly on all forms of alternative dispute resolution. On the non-contentious side Mike is experienced in the provision of commercial reviews and advice, contract negotiations and drafting on most UK standard forms of contract, particularly the EEC form of contract.

KEY STRENGTHS

Mike has excellent drafting and communication skills and provides advice that is succinct and pragmatic. Mike takes a thorough and detailed approach to the investigation of matters which enables him to produce concise and pertinent analysis of complex factual and legal matters. Mike has first class organisational skills and is experienced in the collation and presentation of documents and materials for use in tender submissions, commercial proposals, claims and in proceedings before adjudicators, arbitrators and the courts.
